Vigilantes With A Badge: The War Against The American People
“This phenomenon we are experiencing with the police is what philosopher Abraham Kaplan referred to as the law of the instrument, which essentially says that to a hammer, everything looks like a nail. In the scenario that has been playing out in recent years, we the citizenry have become the nails to be hammered by the government’s henchmen, a.k.a. its guns for hire, a.k.a. its standing army, a.k.a. the nation’s law enforcement agencies.”
Simply ironic to have the flag of the Republic treated in such fashion by American awthorities.

Clapper Reads From the Bush/Cheney/Nixon Playbook to Fear-Monger Over Transparency
“James Clapper, President Obama’s top national security official, is probably best known for having been caught lying outright to Congress about NSA activities, behavior which (as some baseball players found out) happens to be a felony under federal law. But – like torturers and Wall Street tycoons before him – Clapper has been not only shielded from prosecution, and not only allowed to keep his job; he has has now been anointed the arbiter of others’ criminality, as he parades around the country calling American journalists “accomplices”. Yesterday, as Wired’s Dave Kravets reports, the “clearly frustrated” Clapper went before a Senate committee (different than the one he got caught lying to) to announce that the Snowden disclosures are helping the terrorists:”
The earth revolving around the sun can be argued to be helping the terrorists. Please stop embarrassing yourself, Mr Clapper.
DO FINANCIAL EXECS COMMITTING ‘SUICIDE’ KNOW SOMETHING WE DON’T?
“Those who point to conspiracy note that the four dead JP Morgan employees were in their 30s with no history of mental instability. Wall Street on Parade reported further on a massive Forex investigation, “three weeks before the death of Salais and within a little more than a month of the other deaths, JP Morgan had been put under a form of probation by the U.S. Justice Department. In exchange for a Deferred Prosecution Agreement that ran for two years and $1.7 billion in fines to avoid the criminal indictment of individuals and the firm for facilitating the largest financial fraud in US history, Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, JP Morgan was forced to agree to ‘secure the attendance and truthful statements or testimony of any past or current officers, agents, or employees at any meeting or interview or before the grand jury…provide…all documents, records, information and other evidence in JPMorgan’s possession, custody or control as may be requested by the Office, the FBI, or designated governmental agency…bring to the Office’s attention all criminal conduct by JPMorgan or any of its employees’.””
Bombshell Documents Vanish in the JPMorgan-Madoff Investigation
“According to a Freedom of Information Act response received by Wall Street On Parade, Federal law enforcement may share the blame with JPMorgan Chase for allowing Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme to be perpetuated for so long.”
“On January 7 of this year in a press conference called to announce felony charges against JPMorgan Chase for its role in the Madoff Ponzi scheme, U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge George Venizelos, and the Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, Jennifer Shasky Calvery, took turns at the podium excoriating JPMorgan for observing brazen, long-term money laundering activity occurring under its nose in the business bank account it held for Bernard Madoff while ignoring its legally mandated duty to file a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) with the federal government.”
What Is Happening In Ukraine Is Far More Important Than Most People Realize
“What the people of Ukraine are being put through is absolutely horrible. They are caught in the middle of a massive tug of war between the East and the West, and they are paying a great price for it. Ultimately, Ukraine will end up either being dominated by Russia (a bad outcome) or by the EU and the United States (another bad outcome). Most Ukrainians just want to be free and want to be able to build a better future for themselves and their families, but it is extremely unlikely that they will be able to escape the specter of foreign domination. Meanwhile, the violence in Ukraine is planting the seeds for a potentially much larger conflict down the road. The days of “friendly relations” between the United States and Russia are now gone. Russia is absolutely furious that the U.S. has fueled a violent revolution on its own border, and it is something that Russian officials will not forget for a very long time. In return, U.S.”

Greek police enter schools, quiz children on political activities
“Greek police, under the orders of the Ministry of Public Order & Citizen Protection, have begun to enter schools in order to establish the political views and activities of schoolchildren and their families. Efimerida Ton Syntakton has revealed that in recent weeks, police have entered many schools in and around Athens on this basis, including at Agia Paraskevi, Psychico and Kallithea and Keratsini. Efimerida Ton Syntakton reported, “A new era of law, order and intimidation begins in schools, which it seems will fall under the remit of the Ministry for Citizens’ Protection as well as the Ministry of Education. How else can one explain how within one week at least five high school students were taken in for questioning by the police and were asked about their families’ political leanings because they took part in a school occupation? There have been dozens of instances of police conducting ‘visits’ at primary and nursery schools in the Attica region.””
If there’s no suggestion of a crime, such a thing is not any business of the Greek police.

“Last Thursday Chris Hedges opened a team debate at the Oxford Union at Oxford University with this speech arguing in favor of the proposition “This house would call Edward Snowden a hero.” The others on the Hedges team, which won the debate by an audience vote of 212 to 171, were William E. Binney, a former National Security Agency official and a whistle-blower; Chris Huhne, a former member of the British Parliament; and Annie Machon, a former intelligence officer for the United Kingdom. The opposing team was made up of Philip J. Crowley, a former U.S. State Department officer; Stewart A. Baker, a former chief counsel for the National Security Agency; Jeffrey Toobin, an American television and print commentator; and Oxford student Charles Vaughn.”
“I have been to war. I have seen physical courage. But this kind of courage is not moral courage. Very few of even the bravest warriors have moral courage. For moral courage means to defy the crowd, to stand up as a solitary individual, to shun the intoxicating embrace of comradeship, to be disobedient to authority, even at the risk of your life, for a higher principle. And with moral courage comes persecution.”
“The American Army pilot Hugh Thompson had moral courage. He landed his helicopter between a platoon of U.S. soldiers and 10 terrified Vietnamese civilians during the My Lai massacre. He ordered his gunner to fire his M60 machine gun on the advancing U.S. soldiers if they began to shoot the villagers. And for this act of moral courage, Thompson, like Snowden, was hounded and reviled. Moral courage always looks like this. It is always defined by the state as treason—the Army attempted to cover up the massacre and court-martial Thompson. It is the courage to act and to speak the truth. Thompson had it. Daniel Ellsberg had it. Martin Luther King had it. What those in authority once said about them they say today about Snowden.”
Another “Successful Banker” Found Dead
“The dismal trail of dead bankers continues. As The Journal Star reports, a successful Lincoln businessman and member of a prominent local family died last week. Former National Bank of Commerce CEO James Stuart Jr. was found dead in Scottsdale, Ariz., the morning of Feb. 19. A family spokesman did not say what caused the death. This brings the total of banker deaths in recent weeks to 9 as Stuart is sadly survived by three sons and four daughters.”

California doctors refuse to perform back surgery on man with Obamacare coverage
“As a whole, the American healthcare system has been spiraling out of control for years now and is currently responsible for 780,000 or more deaths annually. According to statistics obtained from Gary Null in the book Death by Medicine, these healthcare deaths include approximately 106,000 due to adverse drug reactions, 98,000 from medical error, 115,000 from bedsores, 88,000 from infection, 108,800 from malnutrition and 32,000 from surgery error. These are just some of the statistics on record. Sadly, there are many new problems on the rise in America’s healthcare system, unraveling before people’s eyes thanks to the Affordable Care Act. One of them is that patients are being denied needed surgery because they are “out of network.””

Supreme Court rules Drug Companies exempt from Lawsuits … because a law was passed
“Washington. In case readers missed it with all the coverage of the Trayvon Martin murder trial and the Supreme Court’s rulings on gay marriage and the Voting Rights Act, the US Supreme Court also made a ruling on lawsuits against drug companies for fraud, mislabeling, side effects and accidental death. From now on, 80 percent of all drugs are exempt from legal liability.”
“In a 5-4 vote, the US Supreme Court struck down a lower court’s ruling and award for the victim of a pharmaceutical drug’s adverse reaction. According to the victim and the state courts, the drug caused a flesh-eating side effect that left the patient permanently disfigured over most of her body. The adverse reaction was hidden by the drug maker and later forced to be included on all warning labels. But the highest court in the land ruled that the victim had no legal grounds to sue the corporation because its drugs are exempt from lawsuits.”

South Carolina City Implements Law that Requires a $120 Permit to Feed Homeless People
“Civil rights are often lost in societies by politicians scapegoating unpopular minorities. This happened with jews, gypsies, etc in Nazi Germany and we must be very careful the same does not happen here. One human being should be able to voluntarily give food to another in all cases, without exception. The concept of a permit needed that costs $120 per week is fascist, anti-human and downright evil.”
